Default Need Mechanical Help on 00 DS

Another forum member has an 2000 (i think) DS 650. It has a bent shifting fork (It's popping out of first gear).........
Is their a web site or step-by-step instructions on "how to" tear down and split the cases???????

He is still riding the quad and it's time to fix this problem

Any help would be appreciated

Yeah, go to www.dunereview.com and click on links. scroll down to Wshrdskin's Videos. Click on that link and there is a tranny repair guide on that page.

It is a lot of work, this is true. But it is a very doable peice of work for most any shade tree mechanic. The only secret is make sure you have all the correct tools for the job.
