ok i have a buddy that has a 2000 400ex and for some reason it keeps blowing fuses hes checked everything he can think of he sed he thinks its grouned somewhere but dont no where since all the wires are all wraped. what else could be blowing his fuses?

 

This has happened to a friend of mine and myself. We both unplugged the tail light (Tech at the local Honda dealer said it was the cause) haven't had a problem since.

 

My experience is either tail light or headlights.

 

Sound's to me like that should be A recall item. I checked on this post because my son in law has the same type bike.

 

i just went up to a 20 instead of a 15, no more problems. probably not the best of ideas but hey its still workin after a year.

 

Is this with the lights on or off???? The EX is prone to shorts in the headlights. If it isn't the lights, you are just going to have to do the hard works and trace everything out and eliminate all the possibilities.
