for my 16th birthday (march1st) my dad said i can get any quad that i want and i was looking at the 06 450R 06700R and 06 YFZ450 and i was wondering what one everyone thinks would be better. i ride trails mostly some muddy a lil bit, staright aways liek pavement and loose rock and some small jumps, so mostly all around stuff...thankss

if your getting any quad as a gift, then find out which one costs the most and go from there. special edition yfz450's are niiiice.

 

Trails 700r. Dune cruising 700r. Hill climbing 700r. EVERYTHING ELSE YFZ450.
I wouldnt even consider the honda, especially this years. They say the power is "better" and might a little closer to that of a yfz, but the handling sucks!

 

Maybe a LT-450R? Supposed to be the best 450 of the year, although no one has actually ridden one yet.

 

Yeah, sounds like a cool machine, and could very well be. Though, you would have to change out the tires when you get one, cause they only come with 18's. TOO LOW FOR TRAIL RIDING, AND NOT ENOUGH SPEED

3 quads to consider... 1.2006 700r raptor. 2. 2006 500 predator tld edition. 3. bombardier ds650 x baja
if you want the most comfortable, powerful, biggest quad u want teh ds650. if u want just speed and funness, get the predator, if u want dunes and trails and an everything quad, 700r. GOOD LUCK!!
