Outlander 800 Turning left shuts off engine. Simple FIX
#1
Once when making a hard left my engine shut off ???
Then a week later my lights turned on when riding???
Problem:
I had my 2006 300C SRT-8 key on my my 800 Max keychain.
When making a "Hard" left turn. The extra key gets wedged between the ignition and the handle bars and turns off the ignition.
This this happen 3 times in one day when rock climbing!
The fix: Move your bars back an inch or don't add extra keys to your key chain. A small LED light is ok but anything passing 2 inches might cause problems.

I know people would figure it out on their own but it happened to me in a pretty hairy situation.
I was banking a "very" negative camber tight left turn when the engine shut off.
This bank is so steep that you will tip over if you loose speed or power.
Lucky had the inertia to keep from rolling but I was on 2 wheels.

Am I missing something? I thought key rings were for keys?
BTW: Have you seen how small those Outlander 800 keys are? I ordered a spare when I bought it but it has yet to arrive.
Now I have a 10 year half life tritium glow vial attached. I can see my tiny radioactive key from 30-50 feet away.
