Default CDI !!! I dont need no stinkin cdi 360 update

OK guys heres the scoop---360 went into limp mode on saturday--I tried every reset procedure and checked fuses and switches 10 times---could not get it to reset--I finally pulled the little black plastic box in front of the battery out, the box that is held in by rubber grommetts, and unplugged it checking for power in the wiring harness--Lo and behold (lol) I tried starting the sucker for fun and it started right up and everything works and is no longer in limp mode????????

I posted this in another forum and they say it cant possibly run without the cdi box???

So my question is what is the larger black plastic control box with the wiring harness in front of the battery???

Whatever the heck it is, it is now permanently removed from my quad along with the KEBC and electronic 4 wheel drive.

This might be a good starting place for some people that have tried the belt light reset and cant get it to work--unplug this box!!!!!

Hold the presses!!
I just checked and I did not remove the cdi---the box I took out is "CONTROL UNIT-ELECTRONIC"

fortunately I dont need it, but still might be a good place to start when having belt reset probs
