Default 05 Camo 800 Clicking Noise in Drive line

I Love this new 4x4 my old one was a 01 500 HO SP but when I am going slow in high range the clicking sounds like the drive shaft is loose. I notice it more when I am on the gas and during braking. I only have about 250 Mi. on it. It has done it from the start. The dealer said its just slop in the splines no problem. I have moved the rear drive shat with my hands when it is not in a bind and there is alot of movement.

This thing is so smooth, easy to turn and fun to ride 4x4 I guess the clicking is not so bad.

Browndog......
My 05 700 EFI does the same thing but it's more when you get off the gas and not on acceleration.....SUPPOSEDLY it's normal but I still don't like it, but getting used to it......I think it has partly to do with the EBS.....

this is completely normal, its just slack in the driveline, paticularly the EBS section of it.

dont worry, it wont break

After buying my new 05 800 camo, I complained about the same thing. I called Polaris (I do have a complaint filed) after my dealer says it's normal ( I even called several dealers), I even took back to my dealer and had them recheck everything. They say everything is fine and the noise I'm hearing is normal in the rear drive train. I enjoy the bike and still feel it's one of the best I've rode. But I'm not crazy about the noise but I'll get used to it. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one hearing this..

I just bought an 06 800LE yesterday and noticed the same thing. I figured it had something to do with the ebs. I find it to be very annoying and probably will never get used to it. It seems to me that if there is play , wear is not too far behind. This cant be a good thing.
By the way , does anyone know if the ebs can be adjusted so that it doesnt slow as quickly?

Same problem on my 700 carb 04. i was told it is just play in the rear shaft. i rode several other Polaris and same thing happened. so i am not worried. 600cc and up i mean. it does not happen on my two 04 ATP 500's or my wifes 04 330 ATP.
