Default DS reigns supreme versus Predator

I just got back from a ride, and a good ride, but cut short due to injury.

See, I was riding with one of my friends who races enduro. I was leading on the DS, and we were moving pretty good, I was full throttle third/fourth. These are trails that are worse than Baja and are ripped up from water drainage. I forgot the worse part of the trail, where it dips down three feet and then immediately back up for four. The DS soaked it up with just some minor pain in my ankle. My friend on his predator hit it, after I motioned to him to slow down, and flipped twice. I turned around after going another 300 feet and saw him 7 feet from his bike. He did the first flip with his bike, was thrown and then the bike flipped again. He doesn't have any serious injuries, but he's hurting. Thanks to my DS I'm fine and hauled *** some more afterward.

I'm already sore. Not riding for a month then riding really hard the past two days has given my delts' a work out... he's alright, I talked to him a couple of hours ago and he just has a sore shoulder... It did take a while after the crash to where he could feel his feet though. Glad I have medical training I guess. haha

Had something like that happen to me in some night riding i was flying across a field and forgot about a 7 foot drop off into a gravel road (well forgot about how close it was to me) and never slowed down in time went over the drop off smoked the gravel road and went into a snow bank on the other side....im sure glad i had 12 inches of suspension to soak that up or it would of been one bad wipe out. Nothing better than the big old ds for that kind of stuff. Glad to hear you guys are alright and nobody was seriously injured.

That brings back memories of this spring. There was about 8 of us flying across a pasture. We came over a hill and then there was a road in the middle of the pasture. I was goin 2 fast to stop and didn't want all the weight to shift to the front comin up the ditch, over the road. So i just let off the throttle a little and made it over the road safety. I couple 4x4's that did the same weren't so lucky. No 12 inches of travel.
