I have come to a conclution!what atv will upgrade my 00 ds 650??????I really enjoyed riding my 00 ds for the last 6 years,but time and riding has come to the point to upgrade!SOOOOO!06 ds 650 bajaX!,after trying to JUSTIFY buying a new quad,this was a great choice.We went to ensenada mexico to join a crowd of about 350 of your closes atv and motorcycle friends, for a 100 mile FUN ride in south east BAJA!,the trails were amazing and the DS ran like nothing else!The quad handles great a bit stiff on the rear,but it is sure is nice!great power,excellent torque,handling is just amazing!!!the suaspention will need a bit of adjusting,the rev box has to go!,and will need a bigger gas tank!!!My old ds is definetly faster!(Ron Woods stage 1)with 40/17 gearing 90mph+,but my 06 is definetly quicker!!!with a little time and $$$$$ this will be my ultimate all around machine...So what replaces your old DS??? a new Ds for sure!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Well if Bombardier does'nt get off it's bum and come out with something new I may have to revert back to riding red. Dont get me wrong I love my DS and wont be getting rid of it even if I purchase something new.

Don't plan to ever replace. I mean how are you going to make a DS any nicer ? Can't really go Longer or wider for a genearl purpose ATV.

Faster ... with fuel injection ? else the bike is perfect for me.
Still 100% happy with the purchase ...

 

I too love my ds, and would not get rid of it . But the new suzuki 450 looks awesome. Come on bomb, PLEASE!!!!!!

Isn't a 05 DS650X the same as a 06? Did they change anything?

 

I compared the quad to my friends 05 and it look very similar,no major changes,from yellow to orange graphics maybe?And to the other hand,the 265r Roll Design LOBO will out handle any 450 ever made do to the great frame suspention geometry,this quad was custom built by roll design as a full on motocross race bike,it will out handle the DS but it will not out runnit!!!Really comfortable with my new Baja!!!
