Here are dyno charts of the stock vs. the GYT-r

Why did Yamaha leave out the rpm and horsepower/torque scale along the axis? That would cetainly be useful information. How about temperature, elevation etc?

 

OK. From the info we have so far from the mags and this forum lets say each horizontal line equals 10? (On HP dyno) This would equate to about 52HP stock and maybe 55HP with GYT? Now lets say each equals 5? This would be equivealant to 25 and 28 respectively? Either way it does not make alot of sense? Is this crank or rear wheel? The raptor is FAST no matter what they say!

 

those graphs are useless. the give you no info whatsoever, you can make that graph say whatever you want.

 

this might just be dumb question but what does GYT stand for?

 

GYTR stands for Genuine Yamaha Team Racing.

 

The grafs show that the gyt-r pipe does increase the horsepower by quiet a bit.

 

thanks and on a pipe i would look at ct if i had a raptor http://www.ctracing.com/news.htm they say it has 33 hp and i would think it has way more than that at least 35 maby the jeting was way off and they like it for numbers.
