when riding my wheeler today the 2wd 4wd light flashes back and forth every once and a while , so i turn the wheeler off and the lights quit flashing and it stays i 4x4. can anyone give me a fix or explanation for this?

sound like your actuator is acting up. Try pulling the belt cover off and inspecting it, clean it and leave it plugged in and try to actuate it...see what it does...pretty self explanitory at that point...good luck

sorry, been kinda busy today...... you can clean it out with regular electrical contact cleaner...crc makes a good one. or try a good brake cleaner, for car brakes, just dont spray it too much, the brake cleaner will evaporate quickly.

took the kebc actuator off today scribed a mark on the top cover of it and removed the cover, inspected it and it wasn't dirty at all. Then took the three bolts holding the actuator to the belt housing cover and removed the final screw and split the actuator and looked at the gears inside to see if they were dirty, but they weren't either, just a little belt dust so i blew out the main clutch and got all the belt dust and dirt out, and put it back together. The wheeler still had the same symptoms, wanting to creep ahead, with the 2x4 ,4x4 light flashing back and forth on the dash and very hard to change gears like the shifter was out of adjustment. Anyways to make a long story short i remembered reading about fuses under the seat having issues with not making good enough contact. So i pulled the kebc fuse out and twisted the two prongs of the fuse a little so when you put it in the holder it fits tighter. Turned the key on and everything was fine. Just to be safe pulled the fuse back out and put dielectric grease on the fuse terminals and put it back in, works great! Sorry about the big write up but i wanted to pass the info along to help others just like this forum helped me and also nyrocs site helped alot ...................thanks
