Default End Cap on EBAY with Spark Arrestor

Has anyone seen this thing? Just wondering if anyone has one or any info on it. It says it's got a Sparky on it, but don't know if it's USFS approved.

Here's the Link.
Thanks,

I designed the one for On Dunes Performance before I sold the company. I dont have anything to do with them anymore, but I will say it was a real good spark arrested end cap. There was a lot of work that went into it, and we did do dyno tests and real world tests to determine the right number of discs. In fact we put them head to head up agaist the HMF slip on and saw no difference in power on the dunes between the two. I dont know if the new owners will take that up again, but its certainly an option for them.

I run the On Dunes end cap on my 04 with 12 disks and I am very happy with it. There is picture of it on my page #19 and 20. Had it tested by the rangers at Hollister hills. 12 disks 99.2 dbs in an asphalt parking lot. Had it tested for the Pismo Beach race in October on the sand 12 disks 96.5 dbs. So as far as sound goes depends on where they test you. Big differance in power over the stock endcap. Sea level I am runinng a 172.5 jet, 45 low speed, EHS lid on my air box with a K&N with outerwears. I am really happy with this set up over stock, and I can make the sound check. Now my 03 is an other story lol.

I paid 95.00 with out the Disks, I can't remember what the price was for the complete package with 18 disks. I liked the disk end cap because you can adjust the sound when nessesary. I believe the dyno numbers where as good as some slip ons. In the hollister hills I drop to 8 disks and can get to 98dbs. But it will run a little rich.

I used to charge $139.95 complete with 14 discs . However, It really should have been at least $149.95. I have no idea what the new guys would charge. Very few people can actually make that for less and include disks, let alone the R&D and the dyno testing that went into it. When you consider the price of a slip on at over $200, and they are not adjustable, it makes very good sence. Plus, it looks really cool when its all polished up!
