I know this has been posted so many time that we could all puke. But what is a fair price to pay for a 400ex OTD? Sales tax here is about 7%. I'm ready to buy but want to make sure that when I leave with my new toy I don't feel cheated. I have also read that a buyer should not be responsible for setup and shipping. Any info is appreciated. 5800 OTD is what I have been thinking...seems a fair price to pay. But, is the buyer to pay a setup fee or any other fee. When I go into buy I want to be prepared as much as possible.

 

your probaly get sucks with alot of fees. shipiing fees to the dealer, setup, tax, title fees. and maybe more. i paid about 6000 but i also got the one of the 1st 2000 models from my dealer

 

You can pay around 5200 at my dealer

 

Between 5800-6000, nothing more

 

I paid $5400 + 7% Tax for my yellow '01 EX ...
