Default KFX 50 Perfromance Upgrade Update--PR Racing National Porting Package

I have all the normal stuff done to my boy's bike...

Just got the cylinder and head back from PR racing in Ohio with their National Porting Pkg done ($300) along with a Wiseco piston ($90)

WOW is all I can to say!!!

This bike really moves now....still the initial start off delay due to the clutch issue (hopefully CT Racing will have a fix for this soon)

He can do donut after donut spraying roosts everywhere.....this quad sounds tough!!! I will find a way to link a video clip so you can see and hear this thing.....

I am amazed at how well the quad runs.....just blown away....The PR work made a HUGE difference.....

Here is the list of mods:

CT Pipe
K&N Filter
PR Racing (National Porting Cylinder/Head) Also removed auto inject fitting and bored arm from carb to cylinder)
Wiseco Piston Kit
Remove auto inject
Main Jet 80
Needle Clip- Top Notch
Douglas Rims/Snow Hog Tires 18" front w/offset rim 16" rear with wheel spacers
Restrictors removed
Premix 40:1 927 Castor

I am running 93 octane and it runs great....I went with standard bore to keep it under 50cc so he wouldn't have to run against the 90cc bikes.

With all the mods except the porting and PR head work I was running a 75 main jet (CT complete kit)

The quad has always run best with the needle clip in the top notch

I had PR re-work the stock head and sold the CT modified head to a local family.

I am going to get a Uni 1452ST dual stage foam filter next.....not a big fan of the K&N inculded in the CT kit...but the CT kit does give you the adaptor that attaches to the carb to allow for one of these aftermarket filters

The crew at CT has always been available and very very nice and the PR Racing guys have also been very friendly and have always taken the time to talk with me and answer my questions...

The CT guy said he would have done the same work for about $225 I believe, but the head was already on it's way to PR.

You can"t go wrong with either choice.

i had my head done locally (just shaved and reangled the chamber) with the stock filter i had a 60 in and it ran perfect but with the k&n i had to bump up to a 70seems to run ok but im going to put a 43mm piston and ported cylinder on in the morning so im not going to mess with this set up. also adding a 19mm carb. just got the snow hogs 2 days after christmas and these things sure make it look cool. also im running a very light weight clutch out of a different bike. when i get this thing dial in ill let the cat outa the bag on all the trick things i did to it. we dont have any rules here so if it looks like a 50 its a 50.maybe ill put the 50 plastic on the 80 and let him kick some but.
