I want to race my 99 300ex in motocross. I just want to go and try it out, so the only things im gonna put on it are new rear tires. Any advise on rear tires?? I want these tires to last a long time. Also do you think a 300ex with an IDS2 pipe and a k&n filter will be competitive against stock 400exs and Rs? I doubt very much but i think it also depends on the rider too. So just give me your advise

for tires i would diffenetly go w/ razars. they last alot longer then holeshots or shedders. a pipe and filter won't make your 300ex competive aginist the 400ex and r's but they should have different classes sdo you only race aginist other 300ex and warriors and quads like that. so you should have any trouble

 

I have the IDS2 and k&N power kit..... it won't even hang with stock 400ex's and r's....... but I can outrun alot of them on the track....I would get shredders..... razr's are more for croos country racing...... the shredders get alot of traction and mine have been VERY durable

 

The racing i do isnt really that competitive and most of the machines are stock so.
