is yfz better than suzuki?

Who knows. You can bet your @ss the ltr450 will be at least as good as yfz450. Chances are since the ltr450 is a 3 year newer design it will probily be the best mx machine.........or not. Who knows.

the YFZ is a he!! of a bike. ive always been impressed by them and almost bought one. yes i bought the 450R instead and dont really regret it, but that is another off topic story...
I still think that up to this point the YFZ is a better 450, purpose built racer...however, if suzuki really did their homework like yamaha did, then it will be a force to be reckoned with and i would not doubt one bit that honda and yamaha follow with EFI.
Yamaha will prob be first since they have it on the raptor now and whatever they learn from this production year will be applied to the 07 raptor and other machines. Thats why i wouldnt get an 06 Raptor..id wait for the 07 model.
That suzuki is supposed to be awsome. i saw an interview with doug gust riding it and he said it was alot faster than his modded yoshi 450z and handled better...im glad for all this competition. It only makes for better products for all of us.

who knows as the zuki is not out. From the sounds of it though, suzuki did there homework, and it sounds like a real good mx quad. HOWEVER, MX only, as it comes with 18 inch rears on it. May also be a bit wide for trails.
But as far as mx goes, I think the yfz may have a real contender!

I think the pipe looks cool but for the weekend rider that effer is going to melt your six pack rack cooler. I think that maybe 10 percent of all buyers are true MX riders. The other 90% of us like to throw a couple cold sodas in our cooler and go have a great day of riding
