honda rubicon & mudlite xtr's
#1
I just put a set of 26" mudlite xtr's on my rubicon and can't wait to try them out on the trail. Seems like I gained 2" of ground clearance and they are a little rougher ride then the stock tires. Right now I have 5 psi in each tire anyone running these tires and how much pressure. Also the honda has a wider stance but I see no change in the power band.

I would like to know how tall those tires are, could you stick a level across the top of the tire and measure the height from the ground? My 26" Lites only measured 25 3/8" with 5 lbs. when new.

I did the same on my Rubicon last week and I have to say that I am totally impressed!!!
Paid $400.00 Cdn ($340US) for the set of 4 so I figure it was a decent deal.
Traction on snow and ice is AMAZING compared to the stockers. will have to wait a few months to find out what they are like in the mud and slop.
I have been running about 3psi in them to increase the footprint on bare ice. ~ I do alot of plowing on a frozen lake to maintain a 4 mile long trail for skaters...
