Wow, 32hp gain!! 50hp and bike just came out,60 next month. Man, Yamaha was right when they said this motor is not tuned near as much as it could be. The kit is only $500, wonder what the 60h.p kit is gonna cost. This bike is already unstopable, and it is just getting faster and more powerful. How does CT pipes sound, are the a nice loud grunt?

The hp is impressive but that pipe is butt ugly! If the production unit doesn’t look any better then that I won’t be putting anything that looks like that on my bike. I’m still hoping what Yamaha has coming will produce similar results. Also, that dyno run has got to be with the air box off and some major rejetting.
As a side note, while talking with Sparks Racing last week on their pipe for the Raptor. They felt that Yamaha couldn’t have done a WORSE job at running the two into one pipe, and said it made their job that much easier building a pipe for big gains over stock.
Anyway, all I know is some kind of pipe is on my Raptor's Xmas list

This is completely outrageous! Can it be true that letting it breath will actually move the peak power rpms up another 1300 RPM or so? WOW!!!
I'm betting that the 60 HP kit is going to include a cam to go in the mix.
It may be true that Ron Woods was guilty of false adversing, but CT is supposed to be a reputable company and it looks like they are doing the testing on a Dynojet, so it should be fairly accurate.
Anyone want to take a guess at what this will do to top speed?

An impressive gain, even though the Raptor is probably a California model. The silencer looks worse than the stocker. By the way Bash...with that type of high rpm HP gain (assuming the torque graph is awesome also), 15 mph is probably realistic.
