New to ATV
#1
I havn't had a ATV for a while, and just wondering what they are capable of without tearing them up. Ive had four different three wheelers all during the 80's and sold my last big red three years ago. As you can see in my sig, I bought a Polaris 330 ATP. I have been trail riding twice and love the bike. We crossed rivers, went through mud, and climbed steep hills. I do make sure to clean up my bike when we get home. My question is, crossing rivers, how deep is too deep. I know what the manual says but what is your opionion. I know it's not the most powerful bike, but with low range im staying up with the 660's and 700's. Power is not an issue for me. Also any advice on Maintenance or any this else would be great.
Thanks in advance,

Wellcome. I have a 04 ATP 330 and have always loved it. As far as mods. Here is the ones that I did. They are all from RCR (pm me for his #).
424cc big bore kit 470.00
EPI pink primary spring 20.00
UNI air filter 25.00
Polaris double tube bumper 75.00 (from dealer)
exhaust 270.00 (next)
This machine is no rocket but my family and me enjoy it. If you can hook it too it will pull it or push it. Check out my pics.
The first thing to do is to put th EPI pink spring in, it really wakes it up.
The only thing I didn't like about it was when I went thru water more than 8-10" my clutch would fill up and it would slip. so I modded it and now can have water up to the rack.
