i was checking to see how valuable it is to have the shop or repair manual for my Rancher. I know there is important info on adjusting valves but what other stuff is covered in this? Where is the cheapest place to get it from. www.helminc, seems high

thnx

The manual is very good. It cost me $40 + $4 shipping for the Rancher from the Helminc web site. Last time I checked the Recon manual was back ordered.

I would recommend it.

If your like to do the work yourself it is. It shows how to take a old beat to hell quad and rebuild it from the ground up.

The shop manual is what the pros follow, so yes, you should by one and do the work yourself. It shows you how to do everything, from doing the clutch to rebuilding the enginge to changing the oil.
