I was told this might be just what I am looking for......They claim it is the most stort quad like Ute on the market. Are these really the hot rods that they claim? Are they durable and dependable as well? How good are they with stability on hillsides?

Yes, they are the most sport like atv on the market. They are very dependable. Most of the problems peaple have with Kawasaki is when they dont use the right gear. LIke i told awhile back when a 360 was one of your options, use LOW gear when going slow, climbing, pulling, mudding, etc and youll have no prob with the belt and such. The prairies have been around for awhile now and the bugs have been worked out of them. I would get one if i could. Great atv.

Raced, placed, jumped, stumped, towed, snowed, pulled,,,,dashed, crashed, smashed,,,,wheelied, peelied,,,spanked, thanked, and got 4000 trouble free miles out of her before I sold.
You can climb straight up with low center of gravity, out pull any quad, burn less fuel, never use oil, trouble free, and pulled 350lb trail mower to mow 5 acres.
Just buy it......................good luck.......,

I bought my 700p in October of 03 and still love it. I've done just about everything on it with the exception of mud bogging, guess I just grew out of that. IMO prairies are very stable and if you get a set of holeshot arts or another good radial tire they will handle even better. Power is no problem with the 700 either, I know there are 800efi's out there saying they are the best thing since pockets on a shirt but for that price they better do more than beat me my a lenght or two. If the power of the 700 isn't enough there are many bolt on performance parts that wont kill your checkbook. Just for fun check out my pics all of these were taken BEFORE I installed hotcams, jet kit, and NOS. Now needless to say the atvs I was racing wouldn't even be in the picture now. This is no bs there is not a stock machine made, 4x4 or sport quad, that I can't take in a 100 yard drag. I know there are people who have faster 4x4's than me but so far I haven't raced any built 800 prairies yet. And in 100 yards sport quads need more than exhaust and a k&n to win. Anyway enough braggin check out the 700 prairie or 650 sra brute very close before buying or you might with you did.

My dad has a Twin Peaks, which is the same bike as a Prairie. I absolutelly love the power of it. He also has a ITP wheel and tire combo on it which makes it look good too. Handling is great too. I would say it is the closest Utility ATV ot a sport ATV. You will be pleased with your purchase. We were.
