Default what is the best for me???

what's up all... just need to know what you think of some bikes... lets see i got a 250 bruin for my little bro and bought myself a 350 bruin 4x4.nice bikes recommend them both, except the 350 is in need of a low grear in soup mud.. But on to the topic i want something with gears and little more speed nothing to insane. the bike that i'm looking at are the 350 raptor, 350 wolvoiren with the lock in lockout, the 400ex, or the 500 preditor... keep inmined when you'r helping me with this, i only trail ride; creeks, mud, trees you know. i'm 5'11", 155pounds with my boots tided and my girl comes out too, 5'4", 110pounds. i need something to move me on the trails and her on the back when she is feeling frogy. speed is not a big deal because i don't intend on racing it or anything but what are speeds on theys bike and the goods and bads? also can you put a winch on a sport bike? goods/bads plz.

When your girlfriend is feeling "froggy", let her operate your Bruin while you rip it up on the new sport. The Wolverine is a bit to close to what you already have, I would go for a 400 or the Pred. Any of the manual clutch bikes you mentioned will smoke a 350 Bruin, even the 350 raptor has a respectable top speed with the 6-speed tranny. Warn makes winch specifically for sport quads also.

very good i was thinking the same thing about the wolverine.. after tossing and turning all lastnight.. also i'v thought about the others and kinda got it down to the 350raptor vs the 400ex... tossing them up i like the 6 gears on the raptor and think it looks better(to be qustion when i sit next to the 400ex) but figger the 400ex will probly smoke it any thoughts? regarles i'm going to pipe, jet, and new k&n air, nothing more exsept skidplates & winch... now with that said would the 6 gears be boss or stick with the 400ex? also is there a rev limit in revers on i there bike?

thanks Jr.

p.s. were will the drinks go on a sport bike ?? lol j/m

A 400ex will smoke the Raptor 350 (Warrior) all day and all night. The 350 is an old old old design.

400ex is the standard beginner recommendation on this board. Z/KFX400 if you're looking to go a touch faster but those have some relability issues that you might not want to deal with.

Yes, the 400EX is a better all around quad than the Warrior/Raptor 350. That could also be read as FASTER I suppose. With the Honda you are getting better chassis and suspension performance as well as a stronger motor in comparison. The EX didn't come with reverse until they changed to the 450R style plastics a few model years ago.

The 400EX is air AND oil cooled I believe. The only overheating problems I have ever really heard of are with the big bore kits like some of the built 440's. It doesn't happen to every built motor either, but the more that is done to it, the more likely you are to have problems. That Honda has a tried and true engine with plenty of reliability. The Suzuki Z400 is very close to the 400, but outperforms it in many categories plus is liquid cooled. A Predator is going to be another notch or two up from the Z speedwise, plus they come with a lot of nice stuff stock that you usually have to buy afterwards. Are you going new or used?

Well, At those prices take the Predator. No way I would pay an extra $350.00 for a 400EX over a Pred brand new.
