Yamaha 350 Moto 4 won't start...
#1
I have a Yamaha moto-4 that won't start. It used to just make a loud clicking noise when I pressed the start button, so I charged the battery and now it makes a very low if any clicking noise, but does not do anything else. Does anyone know what is wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

Could be the starter relay or the starter itself.
Try jump starting the ATV off a car to make sure its not caused by low amps in the battery. If that doesn't work, you can bypass the starter relay.
To bypass it, you must trace the + (red) cable from the battery to the relay. The relay should have 2 large cables connected to it: One from the battery itself and one to the starter. Use jumper cables to connect the + on the battery to the starter side of the relay. This should start to crank the starter. Make sure the key and kill switch are both on (if you want to try starting it). Also make sure the ATV is not in gear. Bypassing the relay also bypasses safety switches that could allow you to crank the motor while its in gear (not good for the starter) be very careful not to touch any bare wires with the jumper cable. Also, if the starter makes any sounds but doesn't turn do not keep the power on it. The starter may just be in need of a rebuild but giving it power while stalled could toast the starter. This should be able to tell you if the starter is good or not. Also make sure you are able to pull the motor over with the pull rope first.
