Anybody see the Dec'99 issue of Dirtwheels? There is a article about the Honda Alltrax. It's a 6 wheeled atv where 2 people can sit side by side. It has tracks on the back wheels. Dirtwheels is making it sound so great. So I start thinking ..."damn, this thing sounds famliar..." Then it hits me. Polaris Ranger! (and the 4 wheel Kawa' Mule before that.)
Wow Dirtwheels, real Earth shattering! Plus they damn thing sits about as low to the ground as a golf cart.

I did. I think it looks rather nice. I hope they do come out with this. I would love to see a shootout between the Polaris Ranger and the Honda Alltrax considering they are sort of rivals.

I think the mag said it was just a "concept" right now-not going to be produced for sure. Isn't that correct. But, if it did come out, I think it would sell--at least one...to me. I keep hearing Honda is going to have up to six more models coming out, besides the Rancher and Rubicon. I just wonder what else you can come out with and not dilute down the differences?

 

I was just kidding, I wouldn't even want Honda to produce such a contraption. I especially wouldn't buy one. I was just giving Max6x6 some crap. What is all this about Honda coming out with 6 more machines? I could think of 6 new ones they could use. How about drop the 300EX and come out with a totally new one, how about a redesign of the Honda 90, a sport 4x4, a 600 or 650EX, EXP2 High performance quad, and a smaller machine like a Rancher with the Hondamatic transmission!
