I am looking to purchase a TRX250TM for my son. Does anyone have one of these Quads?
In December I purchased a Honda Foreman 500 for myself, and I am looking to get a smaller 200 - 250cc quad for my son. My problem is that I am on a budget, and I have only about $2500 to spend. I prefer to get a Honda, but I am also looking at the Kawasaki Bayou the Bombadier. Does anyone have any knowledge of these quads? Please let me known?!?

 

Do you mean a Recon? They are great I bought one in the spring of 2000 and have put thousands of miles on it. I weigh about 195 and it carries me fine, chasing cows, changing pipe and shooting gophers. It will out run my dads rancher. as far as repairs, In about 15,000 miles I have adjusted the valves, replaced the axle berings, and tires. that is about it. you should be able to get one for $1200 to $2000, your kid will love you forever, and it is great for keeping him out of trouble.
