Hey xtreme165, Off topic.. Pretty ballsy to do 3 hours worth of continuous racing this weekend. How did your raptor hold up after that crazy start? Anyway what is the stock tooth count on the raptor's front ring? You said you went to an 11. That seems really low. Do you like it?

(I’m the guy who talked to you right before the bike race… I broke my arm the day before by rolling my raptor up at Hillsville. Yes the quad is OK. I got a blue cast to match my quad!! SWEET!!!)

Mike the stock gearing on the raptor is a 13 countershaft sprocket and a 40 rear, you cant really go up in the rear unless you shim the skid plate and then you'll loose clearance, so I went to an 11 in the front and it works great I was able to ride all those tight trails in 2nd and I know stock there is no way you could do that unless your on the clutch hard. As for that start the quad is fine I thought I was going to get plowed it was so dusty I couldnt see a thing. I had that start untill I went to corner and someone ran into me as I was turning and nocked my *** over.hahaha it was fun but I was wooped the next day. I couldnt get a start that day on my bike it took me kicks to get it going so I was dead last giong into the woods on it. I was up to 2nd untill I had to stop and get gas and I ended up finishing 5th. Not sure how I did on the quad not to good after that terrible start I got hung up on a vine and then I got sattlebagged for 5 minutes on the first lap it took me about 30 minutes untill I started to feel comfortable on the quad it was the first time I rode it with the twist throttle (real touchy because its a 1/4 throttle) once I got use to it I felt alright. Theres a race there on the 19th I am going to run them both again. Well post back and once you get healed up and fix that quad we'll go riding1

Thanks for the input. I was thinking the front ring was 15. I'm not sure where I pulled that # from. I’m new at this modifying stuff. (I never had a desire to do anything to my 125m)

I'll probably see you on the 19th.

Happy riding!
