Raptor weak spark.........
#1
Working on a 2001 660 Raptor. The bike has weak spark.
So far.......
1. Switched CDI unit with a running bike
2. Switched coil with a running bike
3. Propper plug/new
4. Plug boot ohms out correctly
Now it is my turn to try and fix it. I am in the process of Ohming out the wire harness. When the bike is put together it will crank and crank, then when you let off the starter button it will give a little "hick-up" Is there anywhere that I should look at that has been a known problem with these bikes? Thanks guys!

FOUND IT I unplugged the voltage Reg. and it sparked like hell. So I am going to replace the Stator! Found that little tip from a google search!!!!

I have the same problem and I was thinking I had to replace the regulator. By un plugging the regulator and getting spark what leads that to a bad stater. let me know if you do it and it works or how that conclusion was made.
Thanks, Nick

I am getting the Known good regulator tonight; I will let you know. From the research I have done this looks like a pretty common problem! If it does end up being the stator, I am going to see why it is bad, and look for a possible repair.
