#1
New member here, been watching for along time now, figured I'd better join!
Anyone have any info on the Kymco Mongoose 90. More specificly the three rev limmiters I've been reading about. My oldest has a 250 and it runs great but the yunger one on the 90 cant keep up with the rest of us even on the short rides!! These "CVT's" are new to me, Im used to the old school 2 stokes
Wires to cut? Spacers?.......................
Thanks!!!

Hey how ya doin. I will tell you how to do the limiter but first I really feel I have to say 1 thing.
I think you have the keeping up thing way way off and backwards. What makes you think a little kid
on a 90 should be "keeping up" with a 250 or higher quad? Thats the wrong way of looking at it my friend.
Anyway now that I have that off my chest...
If ya really want the limiter gone there are really only 2. Some consider the throttle screw a limiter
but thats easy enough to contend with.
#2 The CDI, The cdi has 2 plugs in it one with 4 wires and one with 2 wires
Clip the light green wire in the 4 wire plug. Always cut in such a way
that you can put it back together if need be.
#3 Is in the clutch. Some 05s already have it removed because it was an issue
with 04's.
The CDI should get you to about 28 miles an hour depends heavily on the terrain and
rider but roughly 28-30.

Sorry, I neglected to give age, weight and skill of each rider. One could assume many things based on what I gave you. But, no worries, they are of the propper age, weight and have been ridding for years. Thanks, I would have said the same thing
I will give that a shot and let you know. Thanks!!!!!

Cool. There are lots of new things happening for the Kymco products.
My sons quad is at AC Racing in Orange County being prototyped
for Nerfs, Grab Bar, and Bumper. Of course all of the new performance products
as well. Should all be happening around Feb 18th at the dealer expo.
Stay tuned you have a great quad there!!
