i think the 430 ethena is a better big bore

 

430cc's? What is that 88.25mm?

 

Ive done looked into the Athena big bores and they dont make one for a 400ex, at least I havent found one.

 

ive talked to ppl on other forums and thats where i decided to buy my 440 kit it comes with a pistion cam rev box and some other stuff and i have an aftermarket crank i havnt installed it but the guy who told me about it has the same setup and he said hed never buy another quad after this one so i dunno how good it really is i have all this and if you want i can sell it to for 320$ + shipping i paid $500+ for it and for $400 i could possibly throw in my 450r carb i have with jets for a 440 kit email me if interested anyone can email me at anti024crombe@yahoo.com

 

If you have the money four stroke tech 500 stroker kit but we are talking between 800 or 900 bucks I like that deal for 400 bucks thats what i would do if i had the money

 

440kit would be one of the best to get i dont run one in a 400ex but i run one on my gf's z400 i've have had no problem with it at all i run a programable CDI with a complete pro cuircuit T-4 pipe webb cams and port and polish, had some piston work done to the rings just for preformance. i also run 114 race fuel in it and the best thing i did to it was get the 40 kit

 

if ur looking for bottom to mid power, go with a 416 kit, the 440 takes to long to wind out and with the 416 u are keeping all the power through the corners in the high rpms, i've heard this from many ppl including dealers and mechanics

 

I am interested in your 450r carb jetted for the 440 kit. Just wanted if you are willing to part with it and if you have a price.
