i have an 01 400ex with a wiseco 440 kit, pro circuit t4, dynojet kit, and a k&n filter. I am getting ready to get a cam i wanted to know what the best cam would be for trails and feilds. and what the next mod to buy to gain power.

 

I heard that web cams are really good.

 

I also heard that web cams are good cams but the bad thing is you have to buy the core, lugs and all separate. If your looking for a good cam for not alot of money I would stick with a Hot Cam.It comes complete with everything. Most people say that the stage 1 cam works better for bottom to mid-range power.

 

it also is set up to pass california emissions is there any way to bypass that

 

I would suggest a Stage 2 Hot Cam, it's more aggresive that Stage 1.

 

I would also proabably go with the stage 2 but I have also heard it wears out quicker.

 

I have the Web 450-451 model cam in my 440. It has the best power delivery, of any cam I have ridden, for a trail cam. It will cost you more money, but I say it is worth it.
