I dont think there is such thing as a kick starter for a warrior, but there is a pull start that goes on the left side of the engine. You can get it at a dealer for about $125 or probly ebay for a little bit cheaper.

^^ look on left side of engine.. see a rope with a handle? no? then you don't have a pull start option.. which came on all 87-89's can you put one on? YES with some time and $

It won't be hard to install as long as you have a good set of tools. You have to take the plastic cover off the left side, and install an adapter for the recoil. I don't know if it bolts on or slides on, but it shouldn't be difficult. Then you just bolt the recoil back on where the plastic cover was. If you have a shop manual you can probably figure out how the adapter is connected.

Im pretty sure its a bolt on were the 4 or 5 allen screws are. The hardest part it sounds like when I asked my dealer about it was putting the gaskets and stuff on. ( I think they just keep some water out?)
