i just got back from vacation and i cant find my keys to my ds is there anyway i can start my bike while i wait for my new ignition switch/key the bike has not been started in over 2 months.

 

Yes. There are only 2 wires that come from the switch run a jumper and its like the switch is on you can turn on and off from the handlebars and use the starter switch like normal but the key is always on until you unplug the jumper.

since you are goinf to replace the switch anyway get to that point , the 2 2 wires that come off it will plug into 2 wires under the left side of the dash. Those are the wires you need to jump across, I'll pm you my # you can call me and I'll try to walk you through it. John.

 

i just found my keys they were in the stupidest place but anyways i got them and thanks for help

You're lucky you found them my son wasn't so lucky. Thats how I know what it takes to hot wire one.
