and all i can say is wow. this thing is fast compared to myz400. i don't think i will ever ride my z again[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] my ? is it normal for the headpipe to get cherry red or will that stop as it is broken in?

Cherry red is normal for the 700R, especially in the dark.

 

The 660s and 700s do that. It looks crazy, but theres nothing to worry about.

 

Thats a bonus if you cant find a lighter and need a cig. Or if your stranded and you need a way tto start a fire to keep warm. I remember lighting cigs off of a 400ex header pipe.
