Can't get the DS started
#1
The DS has been sitting for about 8 months now. I changed the spark plugs, oil, oil filter, gas, air filter and cleaned the carb and all of the jets within the carb. I cleaned the jets with a needle and air compresor. Carb is as clean as a whistle. When I spray gas into the carb it fires right up and I can keep it running as long as I shoot gas into the carb. I checked the fuel line and it flows fine. Where is my problem?

There has to be blockage in the carb somewhere.
Start from beginning, if you pull fuel line off carb and fuel comes out, you know the supply is there.
If it is, then follow the circuit of flow through the carb.
Take you time, you will find the problem.
Good luck.

Yeah, the supply of gas is getting there but it's getting blocked some where. I tried playing with the floats but never had experience with the floats and I feel that the problem is in that area. Thanks for the input guys.
