slow jet setting
#1
I have change the brand of air filter oil that I use on the bikes. Was not happy with oil that I was using. The bike is a two-stroke bike. The question is when I try to start the bike for the first time. I have to give it 1/4 to 1/2 throttle to get bike started. Don't that tell that the slow jet is to low. Your input is greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you are running too rich now. Did you put the oil on too thick? Its really not a big deal that you have to open the throttle a little to start it. Most have to use the choke to start. MAybe once the oil gets worked in it will start easier.
