does any know the top speed on a 95 xr100r dirtbike?and will it give a stock 400ex a good run with some mods?

The XR100r is very nice reliable beginner bike but no speed demon. Ours wont even pull a wheelie in second gear unless you really yank on it! My daughter rides a recon 250 and the recon will catch it on top end , the 100 is a little quicker out of the hole. It would be no match against the 400ex , unless its ragged out.

 

wouldnt even be close to a 400ex. Not sure of the topspeed.

 

well mine outran a rubicon the other day and he said he had it wined out going 75 so i was wondering if ya would know but thanks

 

oh yea i dont think ur recon will hang with my xr100r,lol.

 

xr 100 = four stroke ... theres no way in hell it hangs wit a 400 ex.. or even is anywhere near topping out at 75

 

haha you're crazy. I think my XR100 tops out at about 40mph...MAYBE.

 

I have an XR100 as a play bike and took it to a local track where the owners daughter has a 400ex she races and while she was a damn good rider it was no way in hell my bike would even come close to keeping up with her.

 

well ya can laugh all ya want to but i have a 185s bored .20 over with a 200x cam and it has no chance against my xr100r.I bet a hundred dollar bill yours will not have a chance with mine if all ya can only get 40 mph out of it.
