March 06 ATV Sport. There is a shootout between the DS650, KFX700, 700R, and the Outlaw.

Outlaw wins though its very close with the 700r. Its a trail comparison test.

Well, yes and no. It uses the same engine, controls, etc. The PRO steering setup is different, and the frame is obviously quite different.

The ONLY thing the same between the two is the engine, and even that has a few changes. But other then that it's a completely new from the frame up. There is nothing that is interchangable (other then engine) between the two. The whole front end is different from a-arms, ball joints, steering stem, Pro-Steering, tie rods and ends, spindles, shocks, and calipers. All shocks are dual rate springs too. That is just the front. So no the Outlaw is not a Pred with IRS.

which one do you think will make more sales? in the next two years? I predict another sport atv of the year honor. I think the predator will still sell more the first year and the second year the outlaw.

The only thing that is interchangeable is the engine and probably the tires between the pred and outlaw.

Alright, thanks GE. That's just what I'd heard so I figured I would ask.

I have read somewhere that the pred has 38hp as does the sp500, and the outlaw uses the same engine but more modified to get somewhere in the 50hp range. I believe it is 52hp, but don't quote me.

the pred engine is not the same engine as the sp 500! the pred makes 50hp crank and the outlaw makes the same. there the same engine transmission with the outlaw haveing a differenty air intake.
