i have a few other bikes, and i still love the old 300 2*4 farm quad. it seems so different and i still love it, any of you have them and think they are class, or am i a lone ranger with a fetish for a small farm quad? lol

 

Actually, the Big Red was the old 200 and 250 three-wheelers in the mid-80's. But the TRX300 and TRX300FW were as bullet proof as an atv can get. The only ones we see come thru the shop is for routine maintenance. Most people who have them, keep them because they just don't die. Gas, oil and a daily beating and they'll run forever, literally!!

 

i agree- the 300 fourtrax were tanks with rubber tires. Most reliable quad build. We had one at my old job that we used to haul leaves with, the trailer was bigger than a car, and took 2 people to lift the tongue when full. That little quad pulled it no problem!! NEVER had clutch issues with it either, even with the extra weight. They ended up putting more money into it with tires than they originally bought it for.
