GO Carts at Wal-Mart???
#1
Ok.. this is a bit off the track here so I won't talk much about it.. but...
Does anyone know about these Go Carts they have at places like Wal-Mart.. the ones with Big Wheels in the back, and a roll cage, with a Tocumpsa engine (6hp?). They look pretty cool and are about $1,000.00 new.
Do they go worth a flip? How do they do in the dirt and on trails.. or at all?
Just courous if anyone had any info on them.
Thanks
Brian

BrianWSNC ,
save your money.. I rode with two kids in the woods last summer who each had one of those things..or rather I rode & they bounced along in the rear. No suspension at all & the frames? I think I saw "Coors" stamped on them. They were new & had already been broken in One or more places.Strictly for shopping center parking lots.

For $1000 you could get a pretty good used dirt bike, or older 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler that would be faster, have better suspension, and handle better than that go-cart. The go-carts I have seen that are decent off the street have full suspension (like quads) but cost too much.
