My grease monkey urges are getting to me. It sucks having a quad that never breaks down to work on, and a car that well, better not break down because it has no reason to. I might have to go buy me an old used quad that needs some work done to it. Need a motor to rebuild before I go crazy with bordom.

 

I just saw a Pinto station wagon for sale. That should fill the bill. If it runs too good you could always bump it from behind with your Honda. Lots of stuff to fix after a fire!

Hey, I just saw, no kidding, a 61 Falcon wrapped around a tree in a canyon out here. Now there's some work to do!

 

Buy an old Honda 250R and restore it. I am doing it right now and having the time of my life. This thing is like a little Indy car only it is easy as hell to work on. In fact, I have spent triple the time working on it as I have riding it but that is what I wanted - a restoration project.

It took two years of looking but I found one rusting out behind some guys barn and got it for $900.

 

be carefull I had a red 1994 Honda 300 4x4 did not have the luck you are having but , i rode a Polaris and am on my second one and would never buy red again. My eyes were opened up to a real atv with a good ride and real mudding capabilities, I got off it and my Honda was no more and I have never been happier.

 

Polaris has came a long way since 1985 and don't think honda did'nt have any problems when they first came out.
Buy a sportsman 500 HO it will out do any honda utility quad out there. Polaris already has the technology, honda could'nt make a machine of polaris's sportsman's stature if you put the blueprints in front of thier face.LOL.

Hey, you may be correct about utility quads, but not sport quads. A friend has a brand new 2000 500 HO 2x4 scrambler?? or something that is supposed to be one of Polaris' fastest quads and it is down right laughable. None of us (including him) can even believe how slow it is. I have a 250R and my other friend has a 400EX and the Polaris guy just sits and watches when we have drag races. It is absolutely a joke when it comes to acceleration. I mean, I can give him ten bike lengths and then walk on by like his belt is off. It is also heavy, has limited suspension, and handles much like a tank. After riding with us his is now up for sale.

Like I said, though, I am not talking about utility quads - maybe Polaris does better on that front.

Just wondering why u feel the SPHO is better then any Utility quad that Honda makes when u don’t own a SPHO nor do u own an Honda?? PLS don’t try and bash in this forum, this opinion does not help anyone out.

polaris sales are huge. Doesn't seem to me they need to change their line up.

I think the sportsman is the best Mudder/Ult out there.

Polaris doesn't have a 1/10 of the problems they did 7 years ago.
