DS 650 Sprockets

Default DS 650 Sprockets

i have a 03 ds 650 qwiht a K&N filter and a hmf slip on exhaust and i was wonderin if i should put ron wood sprockets on fron is 17 tooth and bacjk is 38 tooth
the front is coming down from a 25 tooth and the back is coming down from a 40 tooth, i was just wondering if this is a good idea for my ds

Where in the world did you get a 25 tooth front and how did it fit. I don't think I've seen a DS geared for 175mph before. 17/40 gearing would be pretty good

me dealer said that the from was 25 bak was 40 so i dunno

i was goin to go count then for u but i got a sprocket cover that i dont wanna take off in the dark

You're not going to get a sprocket cover over a 25, Maybe they meant a 15 not 25. With taller tires a 15 /40 or 15/38 would be acceptable.

Default DS 650 Sprockets

Stock is 16/40. I believe dsrider is running a 22 inch tire in the rear. The 15 tooth front would work well with those tires.
