Default 04 500HO SP Springs

I need to lift my Quad in the front due to the extra weight I have. It curreny leans forward. I read, someone with the same set-up, used a set of 700 springs and it solved the problem. When I went to the dealer they had more than one to choose from. Anyone have an idea as to which spring (part#) or another idea, to raise it back to original level and preserve the ride?

Thanks. I'll pick a set of Polaris 700 springs today. I assume they mount w/o any additional hardware.

I bought a plow with my bike and my dealer installed heay duty springs. He welded tabs onto the bike and put on the ranger springs (i think) but he showed me bikes that had them on it and the mileage on the bike and I was sold.

I have an 04.5 500 HO and I put on a set of 04 700 springs, they came with 2 different part #'s but that was only because one set was black and the other was red, I went with the red to match the rear a-arms.

EPI makes excellent heavy duty springs, and I believe them to be cheaper than the Polaris springs. I think the heavy duty set for your 04 500 are $29.95. Go here

The '05 800's are the same height as the older scramblers. We used to put scrambler springs in the sportsman to do want you want, but now they are the same length. I am not sure if a scrambler spring would work for you, as I am unsure about '04 models!

If you can find out exactly what the dealer did, I'd be very interested as I'm about to attach a plow to mine and the front end sag is miserable already.

04 and older springs are about 2" shorter than the new 05 springs.
