Default Kenda Knarly's for Raptor 700...

I ordered me a set of Kenda Knarly's for the back of my Raptor 700. I was going to buy 20/11/9 but instead i bought 21/11/9 what do you think it will do to my power and top speed. Also has anyone else tryed these tires on any other quad and know how they perform? Thanks Jamie Mace

Hey, I have 22" RazrII on my 700 and it has more than enough tourque to compensate for the higher gearing. It will still lug along in first with no throtle. 5th is very fast and takes a while to get there. I would say 21" would be spot on.

Thanks for the reply quadbike. I wonder if where the Knarly's are lighter than the razr2's if it will make any difference. Also how much does it slow down your excelleration? Jamie Mace

Hey Mace, The RAZR II's are 6 ply rated and are quite heavy but I personally think they are worth it for the puncture resistance. As you know the 700 is a very torque beast so I don’t think it will slow you down at all especially if you have some mods like a pipe etc, as you have. I think you would find the acceleration quicker with 21" tyres if anything.
