you best bet is to have a local atv shop install a new rod for your 686, then have you head sent out of state to craycraft for porting.

 

in southwest michigan a shop called flanery motorsports can do it all if anything have this guy port it he is "the best "in the business at that

If you have the money i would send it to Mr. CrayCraft...And have his 686 Kit put in..Well worth the money.....And it will be done Right the First time....And he does wonders on port work....

 

Are you insinuating that Tim can't do a reliable and well performing job on his bike? Or just that you think Bob will do better?

 

No Not at all maddog56....I quess i sould had worded it a little diffent....I just Know That Mr.CrayCraft does Very good work...And i think he is one of the best rappy builders there is....

 

I agree that Bob does excellent work, I just felt that since the member was looking for a local builder that Tim would be a more suitable choice. If he had been just asking about shops I would have had no comment to make about your post. Didn't mean to jump all over you or anything, sorry if it appeared that way. I was just trying to better understand your post.

 

I don't think Tim Barker is building any complete motors these days, he's focusing on aftermarket parts and head porting. If you just want your head ported, Tim is in MI and does great work. If you want the whole motor built, Craycraft Racing is the place to call.
