Default oil in filter box ?

I have this question posted in a previous thread in the utility section. Hoping to get a response as quickly as possible. Basically flipped my ATV and now there is oil in my filter box. Refer to this link for more details or the whole story. Thanks in advance.....

Default oil in filter box ?

An engine is just like an aircompressor. When the piston goes up and down there is just as much air on the top side as the bottom side. To deal with this you have to put a vent on the bottom side and let that air go somewhere. Most manufactures vent it to the airclearner box.
When you flipped your quad the engine oil ran into the vent tube and into the airbox.
Take the aircleaner out and swab out the airbox with a clean towel. Replace the airfilter if it's paper or retreat it if it's foam.
This will solve the oil in the airbox problem. From the sound of your other post you hurt many other things. Your just going to have to work the other things out by yourself.
