Great piston price, but for $80 more you could have custom designed performance rings and support.

And for $230 more custom ported piston with:

"The Super FSR: Gas Ported, Double Pin Oilers, Lightweight Thin wall Tool Steel Wrist Pin. Adds 3-5hp throughout the rpm range on a Stock DS650 with the biggest improvements concentrated in the bottom end and midrange. "

With a turbo, anything less than $200/hp is a real bargain I'd think, but you are the expert.
And looking at the unusual dyno hp/mph with no torque measures, it seems like low/midrange improvements is what you'd want.

Real nice atv you have.
Custom designed performance rings and support - funny. There are options for rings you can use with any JE piston. This is a 720cc piston not 650cc. The 3-5 hp gain is for the 650cc piston and is the total gain with piston alone, not 3-5 more hp over other aftermarket piston designs.

I'm switching from a 650cc to a 720cc so there will be low/mid torque increase.

I have yet to come across any DS nationwide that was running more mid range torque than my 650cc stock cylinder, stock head, stock cam, DS. Last year at glamis MLK weekend I ran over 70mph on Saturday with this old setup. This was at 550+lbs with 5.5 gallon tank full of fuel, a 200lb rider, and 14 paddle 25" extremes which everyone knows robs power on the hill. This year, no-one broke 70mph, even with 300lb big bore full race bikes.

false info. the sleeve alone is $104 without installation. the kit w/JE forged piston, gasket, sleeve is $349 not including sleeve install.

la sleeve has the sleeve for $108 and $94 to install it. the la sleeve does have a lip, this has been confirmed. la sleeve tried to sell me the piston for $215.

Very well said Scooby. Now if some of these vendors would quit ducking and dodging and start giving you the customer service that you deserve then your bike would so much faster....
