Well the Z, KFX, and DVX are the same machine. They're all made by Suzuki so it just depends on if you like Yellow, White, Green, Orange, or Red.

The Honda is an older design but it's far more reliable. The ZKFXDVX has had some quality issues (weak frames in 03, clutch cover corrision in 05/06) that you may not want to deal with.

Also if you're an experienced rider you may want to look at a 450 if you want to go a lot faster.

Dude your dad said you could upgrade, since you already know how to use a clutch why not go for somthin like a 450r, YFZ 450, or a Quadracer 450.

I would get a 450r, YFZ 450, or a Quadracer 450 or something like that but I really really want reverse because I use it all the time unless thoughs have it but last I knew they didn't or am I wrong?

If you have to have reverse then the Predator or Raptor 700R might be good choices. All of them are going to more powerful than a 400 and way more powerful than your 300ex.

Just test ride all that you are looking at and make yor choice. And a pred? way to heavy for their own good. And a 700 rappy, seems a bit overkill. He said he wanted an upgrade, not to get the seat of his pants ripped off. I would go for a DVX, you don't see to many of those around.
