Are you trying to put a-arms from a 450-R or 400ex on a 250ex? Both are longer and neither will fit the stock mounting points on your 250ex frame. The only macine that is the same is a 300ex.

450r arms will NOTfit a 400ex. You will need the 400ex arms for the 250x. That will make it wider.

They are only like an inch longer, but no matter, they will not bolt up. That was a typo on my part in the previous post. I ment to put 250x. Not 250ex.

400ex arms bolt right onto a 300ex. I can look in my garage and know the truth.

huh, I thought that the distance from each leg was longer on the 400 vs. the 300? TractorPacker, do you know if the stock break lines are long enough to convert a 300ex to a 400ex front end? I have a 300, and a 400ex. I would love to put 400ex arms on my 300.
