well im thinking abouyt either getting a raptor 660 or 400ex but im not sure if the raptor is to nout of date now cause of the 700.....i want this mechine to be able to be comptitive in ice raceing and drag raceing and XC and be able to heavy rocky and muddy trail conditions what do u guys think

 

Sounds like you're wanting it to be able to do a wide array of things...i.e. ice racing/trail riding/drag racing. So my guess would be you're gonna have to modify it to do all of these seperate things so it'd probably be worth it to get the 660 and mod it out how you want it. Probably save some money getting a used one too.

 

but is it out of date since the 700r came out and i know i wont go wrong with the 400ex cause honda will never stop makeing them ...also r they gonna keep makeing parts for the raptors

 

The 660 is still a very good quad. If you plan on modding it for drag racing, then your going to be doing motor mods anyway. And all the good engine builders have alot of experience with the 660.

true dat, i have ice raced a modded 400 ex that was a 440 and i have a 686 this was on studded ice and all i have to say is eat my "ice."
