Default Why I'll NEVER buy ATV-overstock again!

I ordered a front grab bar from these guys, if you havn't heard of them... they're advertised in dirt wheels with thier phone #(but you can never get anything but the answering machine) and thier website near the front of the mag. So I thought, why not... they've got nice looking stuff, it's inexpensive and they advertise with dirtwheels... gotta be reputable right? I paid for my order the sixth of this month... I checked my bank statement to verify that. They shipped it yesterday, the 14th. Thats quite a while to have my money and not do anything. Anybody else deal with them before and have better luck than me?

I've had issues where I order something... and it takes forever. This is because they had to order it from wherever they get it from, before they could sent it to me... (basically they didn't have it in stock.)

Then the term "atv OVERSTOCK" is a bold faced lie. I figured hey, overstock... they'll have this sh*t on hand. Apperantly not the case.

OK, you are PROBABLY a relatively young guy, so a little life lesson, free of charge. First, always check to see if the item(s) you are ordering are in stock, regardless of what type of business you are dealing with. This will save you a lot of heartache and dissapointment in the future. Second, any company that has a nice glossy magazine add that doesn't change from month to month is sellling more than just overstock, OK? I would not be surprised to find the company has contracted with AC or someone to manufacture those "Fast 1" parts.

Quad parts take forever to order, all the time. If you made a business that shipped in like 2 days you would get popular and run a goldmine.

I usually don't have a problem with getting parts from Kimpex/Parts unlimited. Regular shipping takes about two-three days. The only time it's ever taken more than a week is when my gloves were back ordered... and I still got em quicker then this front grab bar. CRJ performance took about 7 business days, MotoXoutlet took about 7... these fellas took 10 days--- TO SHIP IT! if it arrives on time by UPS' time line, it will be a 17 day turn around.

that is pretty cheezy,,,there not even drop shipping, and thats bad enough,,,,drop shipping is when they can get something for XXX amount, and advertise they sell it at OOO price, and when they get your order, they in turn order it from their supplier, and simply have them ship it to their customer, they never even touch the product

sounds like this guy isnt even smart enough to even figure that out,he gets your order, then he orders it having it shipped to him,and then he ships it to you,,,,what a nimrod, hes paying twice the shipping and losing profit at the same time
