Help with Magnum Transfer case Oil
#1
I have a 2001 Magnum and wanted to change the oil in both the front and rear drive cases. #1 what weight and kind of oil is used in these , #2 I found the drain and fill plugs for the rear case but was unsure as to how full it should be when checking for proper amount of oil when filling and #3 I found the drain plug on the front case but could not find anywhere where to refill it at. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to check an owners manual. They all very.
You can possibly down load one from polaris owner .com
Also the parts manuals are available.

I use Mobile 1 synthetic gear oil,in my 2000,and 2002[cant remember the weight] I use it in the tranny, and the two differentials, and shifter fluid. Iuse it in my sleds chain case too,its good stuff, cheaper than polaris oilFill to the bottom of the threads,to allow for a little expansion.Use the polaris hub oil,in the hubs, the electromagnet can be sensitive to oil thickness so im told.
